It r\u003cspan\u003eequires a tilt wand with a specific metal wire and plastic cap on the end of it for proper attachment. The punch is the rectangular cutout where the shaft of the tilt mechanism sticks through the bottom of the headrail.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe replacement mechanism twists the opposite way of most others. When the wand is twisted clockwise, the gear inside the mechanism moves counterclockwise.
